Condoms are the only contraceptives that protect against both pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, when used throughout intercourse. If additional lubricant is required, it should be water-or silicone-based e.g. RFSU Klick. Do not use oil-based lubricant such as baby oil or Vaseline.
